About me

With more than 20 years looking through the lens of the camera Nico Chileno de Nacimiento has traveled different places of the globe observing and rescuing images from different perspectives. Mixing different photographic techniques, focusing more on natural macro photography both on land and water, a lover of textures and eccentric forms, he seeks to rescue those small forgotten beings.
In Rapa Nui he fell in love with diving, the year 2008 where a new world opened before his eyes.
A fundamental pillar in his underwater training was Henry Garcia and his family, the former Cousteau team diver aboard the Calipso was one of his dearest mentors and friend with whom he lived and worked in ORCA dive center owned by Henry and his brother Michel Garcia.

Thus was born a tremendous love and respect for the sea, marine life and its incredible stories.
