The Doors of Time – A Photographic Journey

Updated: Jun 11

Some see doors as nothing more than entrances and exits — practical, functional, often overlooked. But my camera sees something else. Doors are silent storytellers. Every crack in the wood, every layer of peeling paint holds a fragment of history.

Doors and windows are a glimpse into other cultures, into other moments, trapped in the play of light, texture, and time. Why doors? Perhaps because they both conceal and invite. Because they raise questions: What lies beyond? Who lives here? What stories has this place seen? To contemplate them invites more than just looking; it invites reflection. And sometimes, we gently ask ourselves what doors we might want to open in our own lives.
